INFORMATION ON STUDENT SCHOOL SUPPLIES- There are some school supplies that are still on back order that have not been received. We hope to have these supplies shortly. Please be aware of this issue if your child comes home without supplies you thought they would have or mentions they had to share some materials at school today. We should have all supplies soon so all students will have a full set of their own needed supplies. Sorry for the inconvenience.

ALL OPEN ENROLLMENT STUDENTS need to complete their annual contract and pay tuition for the upcoming school year. You will do both things online this year at https://heard.jotform.com/210486047152047 .

HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR OPEN HOUSE FORMS- Some parents have mentioned issues with submitting their open house forms (especially those using a phone to complete them). After you have a chance to review your answers you need to click on the GREEN "SUBMIT HERE" BUTTON seen in this picture. It is in the far right bottom of the screen so you may have to scroll to find it.

School Nutrition update: Just a heads up, we're having some temporary vendor issues for certain menu items. We're hoping it's only a couple of weeks. The good news is, we get to try some new menu items or serve some more of the other favorites in the meantime! Mealviewer is the easiest way to keep up to date with our school menus! Download the app or check the Menus tab here in your Heard County app daily for the most up to date menus, nutrition, and allergen information!

Due to the uncertain forecast regarding icy roads the Heard County School System will be closed on Tuesday, February 17th. This closure includes all faculty/staff. All extracurricular activities are canceled for the day as well. Thank you for your understanding.

We are aware of the forecast for potential black ice in the morning. We will make a decision a little after 6 pm this evening. We will robocall and post on social media as soon as a decision is made. As always, thank you for your patience.

The 2020-2021 Heard County Spelling Bee was held Tuesday February 2nd. Winners are pictured- Third Place, Tucker Cammon from Ephesus Elementary, Second Place- Jake Lane from Heard Elementary, First Place- Ollie Calhoun from Centralhatchee Elementary. Ollie will represent Heard County later this month at the Region Spelling Bee in Conyers.

Senior Night is tomorrow night for our basketball programs. Girls tip at 6, senior ceremony in between games, Boys tip around 7:30
