When completing new and existing student registration online, please make sure you are uploading your proof of residency documentation. Applications without proof of residency attached will be placed on hold until proof of residency is received. Heard County School System verifies residency upon enrollment and annually. If you submitted an application without attaching proof of residency, you will be contacted and given information on how to submit your proof of residency. Annual Registration is opening today! Parents will receive an email today with instructions on how to create the login credentials for their Parent Portal account and complete the annual update application. Download the Campus Parent app so that you are ready when your email arrives. Emails will start being sent around 10:00am and will continue to be sent until 2:00pm. Please do not contact schools or the Board of Education regarding access to your Parent Portal account. If you have any questions about the Parent Portal or do not receive an email with your login instructions by 2:00pm, please send an email to portal@heard.k12.ga.us

26-27 Registration and Infinite Campus Updates!
The Heard County School System is making the switch from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus. New and Existing Student Registration for the 26-27 school year will open up on July 13th. The Campus Parent Portal will be the new way to view your child's grades, attendance, assignments, schedules, and more! Parents will receive an email on July 13th with information on how to login to their Parent Portal accounts, as well as information on how to complete the annual update application in the Parent Portal. If you do not receive an email by 3:00 pm on July 13th with your login information, please send an email to portal@heard.k12.ga.us and we will contact you within 48 hours. Please do not call the schools regarding issues logging into your Parent Portal account. All support request must come through email. Parents can prepare by downloading the Campus Parent app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We greatly appreciate your patience through this process. We look forward to seeing everyone at Open House on July 30th! Please check the district and school websites for more information about Open House.

Open House for the Heard County School System will be held July 30, 2026. Heard County High School Open House hours are 11- 5. Heard County Middle School Open House hours are 12 - 6, and all elementary schools Open House hours are 1 - 7.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow and/or ice for Heard County early Friday morning between the hours of 4am and 10am. In light of this information, school will be canceled on Friday. Important Information before attending Open House.
When completing registration forms in the PowerSchool Parent Portal, check the "submission status." All forms need to say submitted or approved. If you have a form that says "not submitted," you need to complete and submit that form asap! Please make sure all forms are completed before coming to open house on August 1. Please contact the school if you need help.

Registration for next year is now open for returning students. Please log in to your Powerschool parent portal account (heard.powerschool.com/public) or use your Powerschool App on your phone. If you forgot your password, please choose the forgot password link and it will email you directions. Click on FORMS. Contact your school if you are having trouble with your parent account. These early registration forms are due May 5, 2023. You will need to complete a few additional forms at Open House. Once forms are submitted, you will see Submitted and Pending Approval.

Bus routes have begun 8 minutes early and the buses will be minus some children so please expect your children home earlier than normal.
