CES families: Reminder about school supplies and TWO opportunities to receive them... 1 - Saturday, July 29, 9:00am, Back to School Bash at the GPAC in Franklin. All HC students will be able to receive school supplies at this event. 2 - Tuesday, August 1, 10am - 6pm, Gettin' Ready to Go Expo at the Centralhatchee First Baptist Church. This is for CES students only and will be a GREAT opportunity to receive the "teacher specific" school supplies that are listed on the attached picture. THIS IS THE SAME DAY AS OUR OPEN HOUSE, SO SWING BY THE CHURCH AND GET YOUR SUPPLIES BEFORE COMING OVER TO CES.

To CES families. The forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning is calling for rain. We have a back-up plan in place to have a shortened version of field day in the new and old gyms. Not all grade levels will start at 8:00. Your child's teacher may send you a message letting you know of the time for that class. Parents are still welcome to join us, but some of the morning time will be spent in the classroom and not outside at field day IF the weather keeps us from going out. Free checkouts are still allowed for tomorrow. We hope the rain holds off, but we had to prepare another option just in case. Thanks!

Hey CES families. Students in 5th grade will be taking the Science sections of the Milestones tomorrow. Please make sure they get a good night's sleep tonight and please have them at school ON TIME in the morning (no later than 7:40!). Our students (and teachers) have worked hard this year, and I'm confident they will do well on the state assessment. Thank you parents for your help! BTW, students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will begin the ELA sections of the Milestones next TUESDAY.
